MEET LAURA
For Laura, great floral design is about more than just aesthetics. It’s about how a space feels the moment you walk in. After beginning her career in architecture, she found herself drawn to a more organic medium, later that love evolved into a passion for flowers. This unique background gives her a rare eye for space and context, allowing her to see the “architecture of a room” and bring it to life with seasonal beauty.
After years of mentorship, Laura founded Poppy’s Petalworks in 2007 and went on to earn her Certified Floral Designer (CFD) designation and was inducted as an accredited member of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD). Whether she’s designing an intimate celebration or a large-scale event, her goal is always the same: to create a warm, inviting atmosphere through the art of flowers.
